The MaxLit Business, on the other hand, is very easy to program using a downloadable app and a separate remote control provides extra functions like setting brightness levels and selecting when the text should be displayed. The Wesiri Flexible, for example, is able to be bent or shaped around surfaces and can be linked together in series, however, it does need an external controller such as a Raspberry Pi. In this update, we added several models to the list to reflect more versatility in usage. Apparently, after finishing my project new videos surged up on YouTube and became slightly more helpful like Arduino-based guides, but those require some actual understanding of a coding language like Java to program light behavior versus the nice graphical interface that LED Edit gives. Not only useful for retail businesses and restaurants, these programmable signs are also ideal for trade shows, conferences, vehicle identification, or even as art displays, and use LED pixels to create text, animations, and images of varying quality. Yes, the manufacturers aren't the most helpful of people and only care to sell their product. I have Malwarebytes as an Anti-Malware service and it came up clean for me. If you do plan on downloading this software and it's not available from the same link I provided Anyone charging you money in any shape or form for this program is doing so illegally. This is an open source software to the extent of my knowledge. I am sure there are newer versions out now like 2017 or 2018, but I am unaware if they are free. I am not responsible though for any damages that may occur and am just replying to an old post. This site is legitimate and has HTTPS protection (The little lock on the top left) should you feel wary. I apologize for the long wait, but if you are still interested or haven't found the link. Even if you cannot help me, would you mind contacting me at so that I know the message reached you? If you do, would you PLEASE be kind enough to send me the link to wherever you found your working copy of the program? Or better yet, might you be able to send me a copy of it? You have no idea how much that would help me, and how much I'd appreciate it. I am hoping my message to you will actually go through and you'll see it. I have not been able to find a clean, working copy of that program from anywhere, and I am getting worried that all of these sellers of the controller are offering copies of the same virus-stuffed program believing it to be safe. However, a Google search has turned up several sources for the program and downloaded it, but the results of an online virus scan always results in the the executable file being detected as a Trojan. I have tried getting the LED Edit 2014 software from other vendors who sell that controller, but no luck so far. I am very frustrated and VERY pissed off. Even the "User Manual" for the controller is entirely useless, it is a single page of paper folded up and contains ONLY Chinese. So here I sit with over $500 invested in LED modules, controller, power supplies, etc. The Alibaba store page from which I ordered the LEDs and Controller specifically states that the software would be provided at the time of purchase, and all requests regarding this have been simply ignored. My problem in all of this is that the Chinese seller isn't good with English, so he prefers to ignore my requests for software entirely. While I'm not having to retro-fit a sign, I have purchased a large number of the same intelligent LEDs (WS2811) and the same T1000S controller with SD card. I am currently in the exact same boat you were in a year ago. LED Strips: WS2801 White PCB 32 LEDs/1M (1M = 1 Meter) If you DIYers have any questions feel free to ask. I am using " LED Edit 2014 " as a means to program arrays of LED Strips and assign the corresponding Controllers to them. I have found a solution to all of you LED Sign Builders for the software part of things. file? or a batch? Unsure as what to do here. I tried inserting a USB Drive to it and it read in bright blue led letters "USB. I wanted to verify if that is what I'm supposed to do. I do not currently have a male to male USB cable to hook this up to my computer. It has an on and off switch on the power cord and it has a second cable that is a female usb adapter. It's a 96 x 16 and it has 3 panels the first panel (on the left) being Green, the second (middle) being Red, and the third one (right) being Blue. I've been searching for software to modify the contents, but no luck. I looked online and saw some came with a remote to do it manually, but mine doesn't say what model it is or came with any software that I am aware of. My uncle recently bought an LED Sign except when he gave it to me to program it so it could read something else instead of the standard "welcome" I wanted to add more to it via the computer.
